SubmitPouch considers work in English from poets at any stage in their careers, living anywhere in the world. We will, at least briefly, consider any or all styles & aesthetics. We are fond of understated narratives. Pouch publishes approximately twice yearly. Submissions are rolling. Issue Fourteen (Fall 2020) will be released in October. We aim to respond to all submissions within 90 days. This will often be much sooner. Do not query until 90 days have passed. Submission Guidelines:Previously published work will not be considered. Simultaneous submissions are welcome as long as this is noted in the cover letter & we are notified immediately upon the work’s acceptance elsewhere. Submit 3-5 poems by pasting them in the body of an email. (Attach as .doc or .docx if, and ONLY if, formatting demands.) Rights:Pouch requires First North American Serial Rights. This means: the right to reprint your piece(s) reverts to you (the author) upon publication.
